The value of silence
The traditional PC is a noisy creature. Fans hum in the background. Hard disks rattle as they spin. Our machines are different.
Our computer has no moving parts at all. Efficient, computer-on-a-board architecture runs at much lower temperatures than conventional PC components, making fans redundant. Our disks use solid state flash memory technology instead of traditional rotating disks. Click data storage for more information.
This isn't the only advantage, of course. Computers without moving parts are inherently more reliable, and only use a fraction of the energy. But we think a completely silent computer is far nicer to use. It's the difference between spending a night in a city centre flat to a night in the country.
