Our computers
We believe people should be able to stay in touch wherever they are, but without causing unnecessary harm to our planet.
The modern PC keeps getting more and more powerful, but to support its performance increases designers have had to make it less energy efficient. Noisy, failure-prone fans have had to be employed to keep overstressed components from failing. Cases are enormous to accomodate this extra equipment and the power supplies needed to support them.
Was it worth it? True, the latest PCs are better at games, but at what cost?
Very few desktop computers consume less than 100 watts. Compare this to our machine, which draws under 7 watts. There are different models of PCs and some are more energy efficient than others, but our machines still typically run at less than ten percent of a deskop PC's power consumption. In fact, our PC uses less electricity when running than some other computers do when plugged into the mains but switched off.
Add to this their tiny size and 100% silent operation and we think they represent a revolution in the way people will think about at and use computers.
